Yet Another Cornish Led Breakthrough In Modern Transportation
Back in 1798, Cornwall played a major role in creating modern transport as we know it, when Cornish inventor Richard Trevithick managed to make a steam engine small enough to propel itself on wheels, thus creating the worlds first ever car. Over 200 years on, and just ten miles down the road, in the early hours of this morning, after a lengthy all day drinking session in the Ship Inn, a group of hardy Cornish lads have risked life and limb in creating the worlds first ever rocket powered skateboards. Apart from a few complaints from neighbours trying to sleep, we're told their first testing session was a great success. The details are still vague however, due to the fact that most of the lads are still nursing their hangovers, but we'll have more info for you as soon as we get it.

(Then check out his mates interpretation of it below... priceless)

Product Testing With Mongalloyd
Mongalloyd puts a Monster T-shirt to the test in the Western Australian Desert. This shot looks very nice and civilised, but after a few minutes of meditating, reality struck, and Monga's natural instinct took over. Find out more here...

Thankyou Hurricane Tomas

Here's a good old iPhone shot from Levy his morning, thanks to the swell we mentioned below. This empty set wave was probably about double overhead, but the swell started to fade pretty quick. Early bird definitely got the worm today, although unfortunately there were about 30 other early birds all scrambling for the same worm. A good morning though. Thankyou Hurricane Tomas.

Mickey Wins The Relentless Short Film Competition
Having racked up 250,000 views in the last week alone, it's safe to say Dark Side of the Lens has gone down well, and no surprise that it won the Relentless Short Film competition hands down. Good work. As always Mick and the lads are working hard in Ireland, and this week fitted in a quick trip to Scotland with a bunch of Aussie maniacs, so we look forward to bringing you the next installment very soon.
Fenech-Soler At No.8 In The iTunes Album Chart
Recent Love Riot guests 'Fenech-Soler' finally unleashed their debut album last week, and with it currently sitting at no.8 in the iTunes UK Album charts, their debut effort seems to have gone down rather well. With their first ever UK headline tour starting this week too, it looks like things are about to kick off big time for FS. We look forward to having them back at Love Riot in the new year. In the meantime, here's the vid for their new single 'Lies.

Rollerskates - The Original
A morning with Lloyd Burnard, some booze and a pair of rollerskates. Filmed on a whim around the time of the birth of the Slut brand, because like Lloyd mentions in the film, we honestly had nothing better to do.

Australia's No. 1 House DJ's return to Love Riot

The Stafford Brothers recently beat off the humongous Dirty South & Vandalism for Australia's No.1 spot in the last DJ poll. They return to Love Riot at Cornwall’s finest beachside venue, The Sandbar, on Easter Sunday. This is set to be a monster of a night, at one of our favourite venues.
Check out the footage below of the Stafford Brothers going nuts at Parklife Festival in Australia...
Mock The Greek
This isn't particularly Slut related, but it's a damn entertaining clip of a Greek guy called Phil, who's so nearly, but not quite our King.

Ferg, Mick & Mutineers
We just came across this clip that Mickey's put together for Irish nutter Fergal Smith's surf potfolio website. It's got Mutineers on the sound track who played at Love Riot in Penzance last week. Funnily enough Ferg came over for the gig too, as did Mickey, who got dragged on stage to play guitar for their last song. A fine team effort if ever we saw one. We'll have some shots from the gig up on the website in the next few days... www.slut.co.uk

Busted
Banker caught looking at porn on live TV. Check out his face at the end when he realises! We at Slut are pillars of the community and you would never catch us looking at such filth.
PDC on standby
Laird Hamiltons just been in touch and brought to our attention what looks set to be one of the best swells to slam our shores in years. Porthleven Dinghy Club elite athletes have been put on a high alert and are dusting off their dinghys as we speak. An emergency planning meeting has been called tonight at the club head quaters - The Twilight Zone Redruth. By a massive coincidence this also happens to be £1 a drink student night. PDC Head Honcho, Mongalloyd, had this to say "I'm shitting meself, although i'm sure a few sambuca's will sort that out".
