Cornish Night Surfing

We went for a great night surf at Porthleven lastnight. The waves ended up being quite a bit bigger than they looked, and we nearly lost a couple of the lads, but definitely a bloody good way to avoid the crowds. Might take a torch or two next time though. More photos coming soon.

Jase Takes Out The Fronton Pro

Well done to our Aussie friend Jason Finley, who after getting given the only international wildcard into the biggest bodyboarding comp of the year, (perhaps the best one ever held) proceeded to take out the entire field and walk away with the title. Good work Jase!!

It seems our in-house maniac Mongalloyd is in high demand lately. These shots above are from his recent visit to the Marie Claire Magazine offices in London, where being the prolific Alpha male he is, following a few pints in the pub Monga let the Marie Claire girls do a quick photoshoot for an up and coming article on dating. We'll let you know all the details very soon.








Although Lloyd normally keeps a low profile when he's got a hangover, one morning a few weeks back panned out a bit different when after being shouted out of bed by his Mum, footage of lloyd's hungover canoeing session with a bunch of dolphins started causing a stir on the internet. Leaving no time to waste, BBC NEWS left no time in hunting down an interview with the man himself. As you can see, it's slightly more Attenborough than Keith Richards, but a pretty cool feat for round these parts nonetheless.

As some of you will no doubt be aware, we got through a hell of a lot of Slut stickers at Reading Festival last weekend, coming close to getting beaten up or kicked out on numerous occasions, with a whole load of other weird and wonderfull things kicking off too. Bloody good fun! Watch out for more highlights shortly...

We don't normally take too much of an interest in surf competition hype in the Slut office, as most tend to turn out pretty average,. However it looks like things are about to get seriously interesting over at the Billabong Pro in Tahiti at the moment. With f***ing massive waves about to hit one of the planet's heaviest surf spots, it looks like this contest might actually be amazing. Either way, there's definitely a lot of very nervous pro surfers over there at the moment! Good luck to em. Check it out...

An English Garden Party - The Way It Should Be Done

Two weeks back, whilst we were off our heads at what we thought was the best party in the country, a couple of the team snuck off to The Secret Garden Party, and as much as we hate to say it, by the look of this vid the fuckers might have outdone us! Hot people, pumping tunes and weird adventures. Bastards. If you're looking for some action this weekend, we hope this wets your appetite!

This is of no particular relevance to our news section other than the fact that these guys are fucking amazing. If there is a god, then one day soon the Rubber Bandits will play at one of our parties.

Tee Why (Slut) In Australia

A few months back we saw some poor bastard taking an absolute kicking at Shipsterns Bluff in Tasmania. That poor bastard was bodyboard maniac Mr. Nick Nairn-Smith...
Fast forward a few weeks and our dear friend Tom Young gets in contact whilst on his travels. Tom, who takes marvelous shots of our clothing and loose parties is currently researching some new dogging spots for us in Australia in between doing some real work at Le Boogie magazine.

Booze Fueled Product Testing

Local heroes Andy Beswick and Sam Farmer kindly volunteered to help us test out some of our clothing recently. Armed with as much booze as they could carry and a pair of rollerskate each we naturally encouraged them in thier adventures and were obviously very pleased to hear they filmed the entire thing. Jake wins 3rd Place in World Cup

Massive congratulations to our team rider Jake Anderson who won 3rd place in the Skate World Cup in Rome over the weekend. We're super stoked for him. We'd like to think that his LSD t-shirt helped to get him his win, and in that way we can also share in his success...It's probably largely down to the fact the guy rips on a skateboard. Elton John Escapes Us ...this time

We just had a lovely update from Mr. Ben O'Hara who you may have seen on our Facebook page, diving into a tiny pond in the middle of the day wearing his COMEBACK TOUR t-shirt. Well Ben's putting pond diving on hold for a bit, and is currently cruising around the Med on a super yacht alongsde a few famous folk such as Elton John, so a few weeks back we challenged him to get a Slut photo with the man himself, and we've just received this report back...

Jockeys Win

After counting all votes It’s now official - the moustachioed, silk wearing, slightly creepy jockeys will be taking home the massive prize for being the best dressed at the LOVE RIOT's 5th birthday party.

Jake Anderson Wins Liverpool Hubb Festival Vert Comp

After only a few weeks on the Slut team, Cornish Skate prodigy Jake Anderson is killing it on the ramps at the moment, having just taken home first place at a massive skate comp in Liverpool. Not bad for a humble young Cornish lad.

What did you do for 'Kidnap a German Day'?

To celebrate the traditional Cornish ‘Kidnap a German Day’ we went out and kidnapped a young German man on our way back from picking up some tshirts. His name was Vincent and he was lovely. We clutched him to our bosom, gave him coffee and a firm handshake and he gave us German chat up lines, and a random dutch one that he knew. Before proclaiming ‘‘these phases are lame when you’re German, but really charming when your a foreigner with a strong accent’’.
Don’t ask us how to pronounce any of them, (as we’ve forgotten) but if you ever find yourself with our VW loving friends across the way then maybe these will be of use.



He’s off to Lands End before heading up to London so if you happen to see him take him for a cream tea.

Slut Debate On BBC 1's Newsnight

Well we never expected to see 'Newsnight' hosting a heated debate on the word Slut, all due to an inappropriate comment by a policeman in Canada. Interesting that it covered a lot of the same points we've been going on about for years, although it's a bit of a shame the opposing ladies on the show were so intent on argueing as they failed to notice they actually both had some good points. But then it'd make crap TV if they got along. Ahh well ...bring on the Slut revolution!

Grum works his disco magic yet again, this time as the lead remixer of Lady Gaga's new single. We're very proud to announce that GRUM will be playing for us again next month for Love Riot's special one off visit to Brighton Town, where he'll be taking a quick break from his hectic schedule of US, European and Australian tours and returning to the UK to play a massive night in London, and of course warm up for Slut's very own boy band BUGGA in Brighton.

Apparently the waves are average so far, but they've found a good sex cinema. Slut on BBC1 with Madron FC and Peter Reid

When they're not working, surfing, partying or just generally making dicks of themselves, some of the Slut team play for a little Cornish village football club by the name of MADRON FC. Being a slightly backward place in some respects, Cornwall has never been known for it's football, however after a recent spell of defeats, particularly one monumental 55-0 loss, Madron FC have suddenly become one of Britain's most notorious football clubs and as a result have all kinds of international media trying to get a piece of the action - most recently BBC1.

Being the media/fashion whores they are, the lads were suitably dressed for the cameras. The top shot is of Madron centre back Seb Furneaux wearing his Slut TOUR ZIP HOODIE on BBC1 the other night, about to get a bollocking off former England player, and Sunderland coach Peter Reid for turning up late. And just above you can see Ben wearing a purple LEO HOODIE in the changing rooms. We'll have the full MADRON FC story for you very soon. Porthleven Xmas Swim

With only a couple of near drownings and no confirmed deaths, it's safe to say Porthleven's Annual Harbour Swim was a huge success this morning. Which given the amount of ice around the harbourside came as a pleasant surprise. Hats off to 'Curious Tom' for becoming the first person to complete the Harbour Swim, and it's proceeding run back around the village naked, despite the obvious implications the cold would have on his appearance. However it turned out the crowd of spectators couldn't see anything anyway, so the cold actually worked to Tom's advantage in the end. Happy Xmas Folks!

Cornish Snowboarding

We just got sent this shot from some of the boys who've been out roaming the Cornish moors this afternoon. "This is Orch after 2 days snowboarding. Aboriginal Shaun White comes to mind. Like most folk round these parts, Orch doesn't have a clue how to snowboard, but after reading "Kelv's Snowboard Tips", he thought he'd have a go anyway.
