Swandive to Somersault to Faceplant

We were sent this clip from a customer of ours who is working hard on one of those massive super yachts getting ready for the up-coming dinghy season. During a day off in Capri just off the coast of Southern Italy, they tried to teach one of the crew how to do a swan dive to somersault - as you can see it didn't quite go to plan and he got a bit of a kicking.

World Crap Surfing Championship

The first annual World Crap Surfing Championships went down an absolute storm, and Slut was there undeterred by the wet ‘n’ windy weather. You came, you were crap, you conquered, you went home with a prize or a bruise. The categories included Worst Surfing Style, Best Beach Strut, Most Missed Waves and of course Slut’s very own Drunkest Person on the beach award. It was a right bloody laugh, and the organisers kept us judges suitably boozed up the whole way through. Massive thanks to all involved - looking forward to next year.

Kernow King For Christmas No.1

Ol' bloody Kernow King has come up with a bleedy 'ansome song and dance about something very dear to our Cornish hearts. Ain't nothing better for a hangover than a Pasty. We'll post up the classic Bugga pasty song in the next couple of days.

Seen the footage of last weekend's Billabong Pro at Teahupoo yet? if not it’s well worth a watch of the highlights below. Some fo the craziest waves ever ridden.

One of our partners in crime, the Irish nutter Fergal Smith was in Tahiti last week, however not being a lover of crowds, Ferg opted to leave just as the Billabong Pro circus and it's entourage rolled into town. Meanwhile his occasional tow-in partner Walshy stuck it out and ended up getting this bomb (above) on possibly the most mental day of surfing in history.

Now the sensible question is where was Fergal for this monstrous swell? The answer dear people is off his face with us circus freaks helping run the impromptu SLUT HULA HOOP CHAMPIONSHIPS at Reading Festival. Whilst Walshy was getting insane barrels like this, Ferg was throwing Hula Hoops over drunk people at long distance whilst trying not to hit any passers by. Something which looks easy, but believe us it takes a lot of skill! Ferg made an admirable choice we reckon.

The Barons of Funk

Having spent the last 6 consecutive weekends off our heads at various British music festivals, there's just been far to many times when we've pondered the many benefits of being in a band and being famous. So in an effort to put an end to the endless pondering, you'll be pleased to hear we've finally decided to take the bull by the horns and start our own disco band.

First things first though, we set about deciding a name, and following a brainstorming session via the Slut Facebook fanpage yesterday we seem to have aquired the name BARONS OF FUNK. Obviously the next thing we need to do now is work out what to wear. Oh yeah, and then make some tunes - that can't be too hard though can it? Watch this space...
