With only a couple of near drownings and no confirmed deaths, it's safe to say Porthleven's Annual Harbour Swim was a huge success this morning. Which given the amount of ice around the harbourside came as a pleasant surprise. Hats off to 'Curious Tom' for becoming the first person to complete the Harbour Swim, and it's proceeding run back around the village naked, despite the obvious implications the cold would have on his appearance. However it turned out the crowd of spectators couldn't see anything anyway, so the cold actually worked to Tom's advantage in the end. Happy Xmas Folks!
